We are delighted to announce that we are moving to new offices in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf on 3 April 2018.

After many happy years in Victoria, The Pensions Ombudsman (TPO) will be relocating to a newly renovated Government Hub at 10 South Colonnade in Canary Wharf. The office is close to both Canary Wharf Underground and Docklands Light Railway stations.

The Government Hub is one of a new generation of offices that will offer a whole new working environment. The office has been fitted out with a mixture of fixed and agile workspaces, along with breakout hubs that can be used for informal meetings and collaborative working.

Anthony Arter, The Pensions Ombudsman commented: “This year marks a new chapter in The Pensions Ombudsman’s history. We have been able to create a working environment that is flexible and modern, and reflects the same values, innovation and dynamism that has always been at the heart of TPO. The design team have done an outstanding job and this is the first of many exciting changes that we are making in 2018.”

This latest news follows TPO’s recent announcement that The Pensions Advisory Service’s (TPAS) dispute resolution function will move to TPO by 1 April 2018, with TPO then dealing with both pre and post internal dispute resolution procedure (IDRP) complaints.

The transfer includes the TPAS dispute resolution team and volunteer network of more than 350 people located across the UK. The transfer is designed to reduce duplication, the time taken to resolve a pension complaint, improve customer experience and make signposting easier.
