Notice of oral hearing: February 2018

There will be a hearing on 16 February 2018 at 12pm at The Pensions Ombudsman, 11 Belgrave Road, London SW1V 1RB as part of the Pensions Ombudsman’s investigation of a complaint made by Mr N against Northumbria Police Authority.

The hearing will be held in public. However, it would be helpful if any member of the public wishing to attend could contact us in advance so that the necessary security and other arrangements can be made. Attendance may not be possible otherwise. Requests or enquiries in relation to this hearing should be made to 020 7630 2200 or to enquiries@pensions-ombudsman.org.uk

Our volunteers which include pension professionals from the legal industry resolve over 80% of the cases they receive. In 2025, international law firm Slaughter and May decided to partner with The Pensions Ombudsman (TPO) to support its volunteer programme. Today we are interviewing Patricia Critchley who is Senior Counsel at Slaughter and May and a pro bono volunteer for TPO.
