TPR launches new campaign to combat scams
Today The Pensions Regulator (TPR) has launched a major new campaign urging the pensions industry to publicly make a pledge to combat pension scams. A dedicated website is available where trustees, advisers and providers can sign up to carry out the six pledge steps.
Anthony Arter, Pensions Ombudsman said:
“Here at The Pensions Ombudsman (TPO) we welcome TPR’s new campaign. Now more than ever it is vital that the industry takes positive steps to raise public awareness and protect people’s pensions."
