I do not uphold Mr D’s complaint and no further action is required by Teachers’ Pensions.
My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail below.
Complaint summary
Mr D has complained that Teachers’ Pensions refused in 2012 to reinstate the ill health pension that he had been receiving.
Mr D had also complained about the fact that his ill health pension was stopped by Teachers’ Pensions in 2005. However, he was informed that we are unable to investigate this part of his complaint because he did not bring it to us within three years of this date.
