Complaint summary
Mr S’ complaint against Hornbuckle is that it failed to make him aware that by paying to the Plan a compensation payment received from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), he would incur a tax charge and would lose Fixed Protection 2014 (FP14). Mr S considered that Hornbuckle had been negligent and had not treated him fairly.
