Ms R’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right Mr Garner shall transfer Ms R’s pension, mitigate any investment losses and award Ms R £1,000 for the serious distress and inconvenience suffered.

Ms R has requested that her benefits under the Scheme be transferred to her current occupational pension scheme. Her complaint concerns the on-going delay, by Mr Garner and Liddell Dunbar, in arranging for the transfer to take place.
