I do not uphold Mrs T’s complaint and no further action is required by AJ Bell. 

Complaint summary

Mrs T has complained that AJ Bell refused to reverse an income drawdown payment which was paid to her the day following her request. 

Mrs T wants AJ Bell to reverse the payment as a gesture of goodwill or, if this is not possible, to compensate her for the income tax she will have to pay as a result of AJ Bell’s misinterpretation of HMRC guidance.
