Outcome
Ms N’s complaint against NHS BSA is partially upheld. To put matters right for the part that is upheld, NHS BSA shall pay Ms N £500 for the significant distress and inconvenience she has experienced.
My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail in paragraphs 38 to 50 below.
Complaint summary
Ms N has complained that she received incorrect information about the value of the additional membership she would receive from her added years contract.
She said that she was not informed that her employer would not contribute to the added years contract and would have reconsidered agreeing to the contract had she been correctly informed.
