Complaint summary
Mrs K’s complaint concerns her widow’s pension entitlement from the Scheme, following the death of her late husband, Mr K, on 12 April 2020. Mr K had been a pensioner member of the Scheme prior to his death.
Mrs K has asserted that LCC’s approach to the calculation of her pension has discriminated against her, because she married Mr K at a later stage in life.
