The Pensions Ombudsman appoints Chief Operating Officer

Today, we are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Chief Operating Officer, Alex Robertson.

Alex joins us from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman where he has been its Executive Director for Strategy and Operations since January 2018. In this role, he is responsible for the organisation’s Transformation Programme and Operations, Communications, Strategy and Insight functions.

Alex said:

"I’m really excited about joining The Pensions Ombudsman. I’ve heard great things about what it does and I am looking forward to being part of the team."

Anthony Arter, Pensions Ombudsman said:

"I am delighted to welcome Alex to his new role. Alex brings with him a breadth of experience, and his Ombudsman-related background means he is already familiar with the type of work we do. I am looking forward to Alex joining us on 29 June 2020."
