Outcome

Mrs K’s complaint is party upheld. To put matters right NHS BSA shall pay Mrs K £1,000 in recognition of the serious distress and inconvenience which she has suffered.

My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail below. 

Complaint summary

Mrs K has complained that she was provided with incorrect information regarding her pension by NHS BSA, the administrator of the Scheme. As a result, she says the estimates she relied on in her decision to retire were overstated and she suffered financial loss.
