 I do not uphold Mr L’s complaint, and no further action is required by Hymans or the Trustees.   

Complaint summary

  1. Mr L’s complaint is that he was not provided with a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) as part of the information issued to him ahead of him reaching age 55. Mr L states that a CETV figure was withheld and delayed, and he was forced into selecting the wrong retirement option. 

  2. Mr L also stated the annual increase of his pension had been negatively impacted by the delays he experienced during the process of selecting his retirement benefits.
