Outcome
I do not uphold Mrs G’s complaint and no further action is required by DPF.
My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail below.
Complaint summary
Mrs G’s complaint is solely against DPF in its failure to process a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) within 12 months of her Normal Retirement Date (NRD) in the Scheme. As a result, Mrs G says she has lost all future flexibility in accessing and disposing of her pension benefits from a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP).
