The complaint is partly upheld against Aviva because: -
I partly uphold Mr S’ complaint and ReAssure shall pay Mr S £500 for the significant distress and inconvenience he has experienced less the £200 it has already paid him.
Mr R’s complaint against Mercer and the Trustee is partly upheld. To put matters right, Mercer shall pay Mr R £500 in recognition of the significant distress and inconvenience he suffered.
I uphold part, but not all of Dr S’ complaint. To put matters right for the part of the complaint I uphold, Fidelity shall adjust the units held in Dr S’ SIPP to put the plan in the position it would now be in if the transfer had not been delayed by ten working days.
Mrs N’s complaint is partly upheld. To put matters right MPF, SIL and LCC shall pay Mrs N a total of £1,000, taking into account the £500 already paid by SIL and LCC, in recognition of the serious distress and inconvenience which Mrs N has suffered dealing with this matter.
Mr R’s complaint against the Employer is partly upheld. To put matters right, the Employer shall pay Mr R £500 in recognition of the distress and inconvenience he suffered.
Mr R’s complaint against the Council is partly upheld. To put matters right, the Council shall pay Mr R £500 in recognition of the significant non-financial injustice which he has suffered dealing with this matter.
