Dr D’s complaint is upheld to the extent that she has suffered distress and inconvenience and, to put matters right, NHSBSA should pay her £500 compensation.

Complaint summary

Dr D’s complaint against NHSBSA is that it failed to provide a cash equivalent transfer value (CETV) of her benefits in the Scheme before the government deadline. This prevented her from transferring her pension to a money purchase arrangement and has significantly affected the financial security of her children.
