Outcome
I do not uphold Mr L’s complaint against Prudential and no further action is required by Prudential.
Mr L’s complaint against AJ Bell is upheld. To put matters right AJ Bell should compensate Mr L for any loss of growth on his investment.
My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail below.
