I do not uphold Mr A’s complaint and no action is required by the Administrator.

Complaint summary

Mr A has complained about the delays to the transfer of his pension. He says:- 

  • The Administrator was not prepared for the regulatory changes to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register for the Financial Advisors and this resulted in a delay to the transfer. 
  • As a consequence, Mr A suffered a financial loss. He said that, had his transfer been completed on time, he would have been £40,000 better off.
