Outcome
- Mrs Y’s complaint is upheld and, to put matters right, the Employer shall pay £2,074.45 into the Scheme. The Employer shall ensure that Mrs Y is not financially disadvantaged by its maladministration, so, it shall arrange for any investment loss to be calculated and paid into the Scheme.
- In addition, the Employer shall pay Mrs Y £1,000 for the serious distress and inconvenience it has caused her.
Complaint summary
Mrs Y has complained that the Employer, despite deducting contributions from her pay, has failed to pay them all into the Scheme.
Mrs Y said that the Employer has not paid pension contributions, totalling £2,074.45, into the Scheme for May 2022 and the period between October 2022 and September 2023. The total figure consists of £1,199.10 for employee pension contributions and £875.35 for employer pension contributions.
