Mrs Y’s complaint concerns: 

  • delays by Mercer in setting up and paying a widow's pension, after the death of her husband, Mr Y;

  • the provision of incorrect information about her eligibility to receive a death lump sum payment; and 

  • in her capacity as Executor of the Estate of Mr Y (the Estate), she believes that Mr Y was provided with insufficient information when he claimed his benefits.
