Outcome
I partly uphold Miss D’s complaint; my Directions are set out in paragraph 47.

The complaint is partially upheld against TP because:-
Mr R’s complaint against Fidelity is partly upheld. To put matters right, Fidelity shall follow the actions set out in the section, “Directions”.
The complaint is upheld against the Trustee and WTW because:-
I do not uphold Mr T’s complaint and no further action is required by Curtis Banks.
Mr R’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right James Hay shall:
I do not uphold Mr S’ complaint and no further action is required by the Scheme Administrator or the Trustee.
Professor G has sustained injustice as a consequence of maladministration (involving infringements of various legal rights) by NHS BSA.
NHS BSA:
The complaint is upheld against USS because it failed to provide sufficient and accurate information to Professor E, at the time he made his decision to opt for EOO, about the impact it would have on his entitlement to LRF. Consequently, he made an uninformed decision which has caused him an injustice.
Dr Y’s complaint against NHS BSA is partly upheld. To put matters right, NHS BSA shall pay Dr Y £500 for the significant distress and inconvenience its maladministration will have caused him.
