I do not uphold Mrs N’s complaint and no further action is required by NILGOSC.
Mrs N’s complaint against NILGOSC concerns its decision to award her Tier 2 ill health retirement pension (IHRP) benefits. She believes she should have been awarded Tier 1.
Mr M’s complaint against the University is partly upheld. To put matters right, for the part that is upheld, the University shall pay Mr M £1,000 for his serious distress and inconvenience. Mr M’s complaint against the Council is not upheld.
I do not uphold Mr L’s complaint and no further action is required by Hampshire.
Mr L has complained that Hampshire has declined to backdate the payment of his deferred benefits to August 2010.

Mr S’ complaint is that he has been incorrectly refused the early release of his deferred pension on the grounds of ill health.
The complaint is upheld against MAG because it turned down Mr S’ application for the early release of his deferred pension on grounds of ill health without necessary information. Its decision was therefore not properly made.
