Outcome
Mr L’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right, Aviva shall pay Mr L £1,000 in addition to the £400 which Aviva says that it has paid Mr L for the severe distress and inconvenience he has been caused. Aviva shall also provide Mr L with a correct Retirement Benefits Schedule.
Complaint summary
Mr L has complained that Aviva delayed paying his pension from the Scheme from July 2017 until April 2019. He considers that he has not been adequately compensated for the delay.
